Well, the drop is plainly visible, if you don't like intense rides, don't get on it and if you suffer from nosebleeds, the same applies. Besides, come on- it's just a nose bleed! Personally I think watching people hurl is more gross! :-)
I have also heard speculation that the size and angle of the drop hasn't been altered at all, just the track has been replaced in order to make the experience smoother.

I should be going to the park this Saturday, so I'll let you guys know what the deal is. BTW, do the water rides still open 1 hour after the park opens, even during the summer?
On my last trip I was a single rider alone in a log. The ride ops would not let singles ride alone in the "back seat" - some sort of safety procedure. Too much air on the drop perhaps?
