A peek at Jungle Racer

I just refocused our webcam (http://holidayworld.com/web_cam.html) so that it shows the top of Jungle Racer in Splashin' Safari.

Won't be able to get that view for long -- once the trees leaf out, all we'll see is green.

For those who aren't familiar with Splashin' Safari, the purple enclosed water slide in the foreground is ZOOMbabwe. Then there's the top of Zinga's six-story funnel. And behind it, you can see the top of our new-for-2004 Jungle Racer.

Anybody else got spring fever? :)

Paula (...may I remind everyone that if you look late in the evening, you'll see only darkness) :)

Yay Paula. I can't wait to get back to HW. Can I call it my home park even though it's 9 hours away? Sure feels like home to me :)

I call HW my home park and I'm 1,500 miles away ;)

Hey Paula...what's that thing made of wood in the bottom left corner?

Must be the stairs to the top of ZOOMbabwe...I don't remember them being so steep! ;)

Hey Paula, I haven't seen or heard anything about the innertube lift for Zinga. Has that been installed or was it pushed back?

Happiness is like peeing your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth. Trip pics are here: http://www.pbase.com/jhbd99.

Yes, we will have a conveyor system for Zinga this season. I'm not sure if it's in place yet -- but it will be.

Thanks, Paula

Many thanks for that conveyor system on Zinga. It's hard enough to climb those steps with my fear of heights but carrying that raft made it downright scary:) Not to mention that those rafts are really heavy!

Certain victory.

Paula I have a question, how do you plan on keeping smokers from smoking, if there just walking around? Will you kick them out?

We will politely direct them to the nearest Smoking Area. There's one in each section of the park.

Kudos again for clearing the air for those of us who are non-smokers and dont really enjoy breathing second hand smoke in line. It also makes a lot of sense since a lot of Holiday World is wooded and has 2 nice woodies we dont want burning down due to someone's carelessness.

PS: To those who are smokers, sorry if my stance offends. I do understand your side as well since my dad is smoker. *** Edited 3/25/2004 8:23:19 PM UTC by beast7369***
