I agree with most people about BGW , but i think you make some deshonor about CP, what better landscaping, than the penisula and the lake, is the only park having this, and they had a lot of trees, grass, and green areas, take in count the garden in the front, that landscaping too!!

SFOT and PKI has great landscaping too!!

I have to say SFKK has the poor landscapiping i ever seen!!!

"I agree that BGW and BGT are beautiful parks, but I can't believe no one mentioned Kennywood. There are plenty of shade trees, beautiful plants and flowers, the picnics areas are all nicely shaded, the lake has a nice walking bridge, and much more. Kennywood is a beautiful park.

I mentioned Kennywood. It is a park in Pennsylvania that's not Dorney, right?;)

You know WildOne, I was going to mention that you kind of hinted at Kennywood, but decided not to. Sorry about that, won't let it happen again :)

Hands down, Busch Gardens: Williamsburg. The landscaping is simply gorgeous. Everything from the trees to the flowerbeds to the fountains. It's all beautiful. IOA also looks very good, though.

Busch Gardens, Tampa (I haven't been to Williamsburg). Gemini - I don't think CP's budget is the problem with their landscaping, but rather the space. Compared to the more southern parks (that can work on landscaping year-round) that were planned more to incorporate greenery, CP does not have as much land available. I am NOT saying that CP is running out of room, certainly, just that it's a tradeoff, and a peninsula certainly has to consider space when planning landscaping. For decorative flower gardens, however, CP is the tops completely - I love always taking the Skyride over the Main Midway and trying to figure out what the circular flower bed is each year. And back in the Frontier area of the park they do a good job as well.

Another point to consider: parks in the more southern areas of the country will have to have more landscaping and greenery, for the cooling effects it provides. I'd hate to be in 98 degree heat with 100% humidity and no trees in site! Yeesh.
