Don't know what this is for. This was just registered this past Feb and I did a search and found no rides with this name. It's called Hydra The Revenge. Kida stupid IMHO. Could this be one of the new names for a Geauga Lake ride?

Consider this description of the "Hydra" myth from Webster's dictionary...
Hydra \Hy"dra\, n.; pl. E. Hydras, L. Hydr[ae]. [L. hydra, Gr. "y`dra; akin to "y`dwr water.
1. (Class. Myth.) A serpent or monster in the lake or marsh of Lerna, in the Peloponnesus, represented as having many heads, one of which, when cut off, was immediately succeeded by two others, unless the wound was cauterized. It was slain by Hercules. Hence, a terrible monster.
B:KF is currently located on a lakeshore, partially over water. The trademark did list many souvenir items, thus making me think that this name is indeed intended for a major ride. Yes, the trademark was dated a month before the SFWOA purchase, but I imagine that Cedar Fair would have been thinking about these sorts of things at that time, just in case.
Hmmmmm....

Thanks, geneticfreak.
Having Dorney Opening Day withdrawls. Hoping Kennywood tomorrow with give me my fix.
does anyone else think that this is a little elaborate for a cedar fair park? the name will take some explaining because not everyone (including me) knows/knew the meaning behind the name. the name also makes some theming necessary but perhaps this is a new trend with CF- to start lightly theming their coasters like TTD was. i also think the name doesnt have the same power as talon does. hydra has a pretty tame connotation to me
