Hi I'm new to this site and I am from New Philadephia ohio. My question is even though im further from cedar point than six flags woa does that mean six flags woa has to be my home park.

ps This is a really great site.

I'd say whatever park you visit which a) feels like home, and b) you frequent more than other parks in your area.

Agreed. I mean, you don't have to declare a home park at all. It's not like when you show up to vote in the primaries and declare your party.

That said, I think a lot of folks in the Greater Cleveland area consider CP their home park even though "the other park" is closer. Heck, my second choice is PKI, and that's three hours away.

My adopted home park is Cedar Point and I live by Six Flags Great America and that is two states away.

I am from the Erie, PA area, and I practically call CP my home park too, even though there are numerous parks less than 2 1/2 hours away from me...

Being from the Chicago area, I call SFGAm my home park and PKI is my 2nd home. However, my lovely wife would probably reverse that order. She adores PKI and The Beast.

I live in Denver, and I consider both SFEG and Lakeside my homeparks. I don't see why there has to be just one.

I call Hershey my home park even though I'm 45 mins from SFGADV.

Thanks,

Personally SFGAm is my home park. But Holiday World and Cedar Point are my homes away from home. ;)

I'm in LA. Holiday World and Knoebels feel more like my home parks than any park here in LA [but of the LA parks, Knotts would be the one].

Home is where the heart is. :-) I agree with Moosh in that aspect, Holiday World and Knoebels feel like home. Cedar Point and PKI feel like home. :-)

But geographically it would be Camden Park, with Kennywood and PKI being the next closest.

My "home" parks are BGT (my first home park), IoA (the park built from my dreams), and Wild Adventures (the park built from the ground up in front of my eyes)....

And, as stated above by SOMEONE...;), Knoebels and esp. HW are my *home parks*, as in, "your home park is where your heart is", the places I feel as comfortable as anyplace on Earth...:)

CP is my homepark, even after I moved from Sandusky to Naperville. Heck, I've never even been to Great America yet.

Having Clementon 20 minutes away doesn't stop me from calling SFGAdv my home park. Some seasons I don't visit Clementon at all.

PKI is just *barely* my 2nd choice. If it weren't 3.5 hrs from me (I envy you being closer to I-71 and saving that half an hour) it would so be my first choice.

So, for me, the closest PKI gets to "homepark" is "home-away-from-homepark."

Knoebels is my home park. I'm there usually once or twice a week durring the summer. It's a good thing too since it's 12 miles from my house! :) (I like rubbing that in);)

My other home home park would be Hershey since those are the two I visit the most often.

Well poo on you all. According to my GPS, I lived 4 miles from Cedar Point (as the crow flies).
