It shows a portable inverted coaster somewere in scottland. Does anyone have a pick of this ride all set up and running?
Also, does anyone know if this is the only portable invert? If not, are there any here in the states?
As far as I know the new inverter has been touring a few fairs in mainland Europe before opening here for the 2004 season.
It'll be interesting to see how they hype this coaster - they used the stats and doctored photos of Dragon Khan to hype up the Pinfari triple looper they installed several years ago;)
I'll keep an eye on the progress...

Eurostar, which tours German (or European?) fairs - it's layout is like a mixture between a shortened Batman and the Double Corkscrew of Vekoma SLC - the rails look like B&M but they obviously had nothing to do with it.
It could be a great ride since the design of the dynamics seems to be fantastic - when I rode it 1.25 years ago in Cologne however it felt like a car crash more than anything else - due to the extensive de- and con-struction of the ride, there were offsets between the massive rails that caused serious bumps.
It's in rehab right now - at least it was in December - b.t.w. at Schwarzkopf's former production plant in Münsterhausen, which is now owned by Gerstlauer.
I can't wait to see if they manage to get it into a rideable shape again.
There is also another travelling inverted in Europe: The Eurocoaster - like and inverted Mouse-type coaster:

There is at least one travelling in the UK.
There used to be an onride video available, but I don´t know if I will find it again.
From what I have heard the seats are the most comfy inverter seats of all and provide a smooth ride!

Indeed looks like a short but smooth ride.
Strange how I had never heard of it before.
oh- well.
Still looks like a fun "little" (?) coaster.
I develop Superior Solitaire when not riding coasters.
