Indiana Beach is getting a new coaster for "04" called Air Crow. It is a Larson flying scooter. Does anybody know if it is a new or used coaster and where i can fing a example of what one looks like. Thanks!

It is actually a flat ride, not a coaster.

My fault, must have got excited hearing scooters and thought it was a coaster. But does anybody know where to find out what it looks like?

As bigboy said, it's not a coaster, but a flatride. You can see pictures here, among other places.

What my good friend Greg failed to mention is that it's the most Scrimdiddlyumptious of all flat rides!

Brian, who notes that if they'll just let us snap then IB might HAVE to be a yearly trip. :oD

Well, homey, if they run it the same speed that they run their other flat rides (absolutely insane mode) The scooters will be snap-a-licious! ;)

"Snappable" is nowhere NEAR the same thing as *allowing* snaps...

Ain't that right, PKD? ;)

FWIW, to the best of my knowledge, Tom Spackman has not yet decided whether to allow snapping...considering the ride's location, snaps would be CRAZY.....eh, Greg? :)

Sounds like it will be located right next to where the campground ferry's park. Which will be pretty awesome, considering there are a lack of adult rides in that area besides Cornball Express. I can't wait to ride them, since I have heard so much about this type of ride.

You can also see pictures and stats of flying scooters on Larson's website:

I thought this was going to replace the Paratrooper. In other questions: do you think they will remove their paratrooper? Theres been talk about it.

When Tom was at NoCoasterCon, John, he was asked if they were going to take out paratrooper to put in AirCrow. He said, "No they had no plans to remove paratrooper..."

Scooters over water should be a new experience. With the screams and noises of two Top 25 coasters overhead and powerboats whining across the bay, this could be disorienting.

I always thought putting flyers on the Kennywood Stage would be a good idea, even though the Swing-Around is nice where it's at.

Just an FYI, Gravity Group is building the over-water platform that Air Crow will be on.
