For a project in school, we have to create a business plan and open a shop, etc. I chose to open an amusement park. Its a sweet project, at least in my case.
So, I was just wondering if anyone know the approximate size of Dorney in like acres. If anyone does know, please let me know!
Thanks!
"Situated on approximately 200 acres" from Cedar Fair.com
Its larger than my backyard. Final answer.
When you draw up your business plan, be sure your budget includes expenses for a) building large wooden roller coaster, and b) demolishing large wooden roller coaster 14 years later.

Oh shut up about Hercules already! I loved that ride!
Totally said in jest. Herc just makes a good punchline.

Indeed it does. The first 4,000 times it did anyway, now its just old, but maybe thats just bitter biased Dante.
Hey AJ, it's also larger then the Stardust!!!!
Why would anyone want a park shaped like an elephant head?

Danny.....cause the mouse head was already used? ;)
LOL, an elephant's head? Is that a front or side profile?
Fate is the path of least resistance.
Definitely the profile.. er, what type of elephants do you know Antuan? ;)
I can see that the waterpark make a sort of elephant ear, but the other end doesn't make much sense as trunk and tusks.
I saw the Laser area as the bottom on the trunk (baby elephant? ;)), its slightly open mouth beneath that with the picnic area, the tusks in Thunderhawk and Steel Force area, with the ear as the waterpark area and the top of the head by the train. That's what I see in the map and *thought* I saw when coming up to Dorney Park in person. So it doesn't matter if you see it or not. I wouldn't argue with you if you saw Magic Kingdom's layout as a lolipop with spokes. ;)
