There are no parks in London, but several are close by.

About the best I'm aware of is the (awesome) bumper cars in Namco Station, near the London Eye (which is very cool in itself).

Also, one time when I was in London in December (brrr!) there was a fair of some sort set up in the middle of Picadilly Circus. *** Edited 1/27/2004 1:25:00 PM UTC by GregLeg***

Sorry C48s24, I'm afraid there are no Theme Parks in london. Thorp Park and Chessington are fairly easy to get to from the mainline stations though.

You might also want to check out the London eye (as suggested above) Trocodero, in Picadilly Circus (for a very big arcade/amusement centre and sometimes a small fair)and London Zoo (always worth a visit).

Enjoy

I can't remember the name of it, but in Kensington (tube: High Street I believe) there is a S&S drop tower in a shopping center. I will try to find the info and post later.

Blaster:

I think you're referring to the Pepsi Max Drop Zone in Trocaderro. I'm afraid that has been removed. I don't know why. Sorry!

What exactly is Pepsi Max, anyway? Is it comparable to any product we've got going on here in the US?

It's a diet Pepsi, somewhat akin to Pepsi One, I believe.

GregLeg,

Yep, it's diet pepsi. The idea is that it is supposed to be more pallatable than diet coke and virtually impossible to distinguish between it and its regular Pepsi counterpart.

It is more pallatable than diet coke in the same way that eating dry cardboard is better than eating soggy cardboard. As for being not being able to distinguish between it an regular Pepsi, give me a break! :-)

There is just no substitute for sugar people, accept it!!!! :-)
