Tickets at CP

I just had a question....Im going to CP towards the end of May and im most likely going to be staying at the Camper Village, Can you purchase tickets at the Soak City Entrance?

unless you want season passes you will be ok

And before you do that call CP and request their Getaway Guide.....it's chocked full of coupons. :-) You can also find coupons at a lot of local establishments in and around Sandusky, especially at a few service areas on the turnpike.

Yes you can buy discounted tickets at check-in at the Campground. You may even be able to get a package that includes tickets that time of the year.

What kind of discout does AAA give you?

Don't forget to try purchasing tickets online before you even go -- that way, no waiting in the ticket line prior to going in the park, and often online sales will have discounts similar to what you could get otherwise (I know several other parks that do this, but I'm not sure about Cedar Point).

I believe AAA is around $10 off, just like at select grocery stores, city recreation depts and some companies.

CP does not discount online presales, AFAIK. In the past, the resorts single-day tickets were a bit cheaper than AAA's, but AAA's ride-n-slides were a bit cheaper than the resort's. Or maybe that was the other way around. In any event, they're close enough in price that it's barely worth figuring it out.
