X seat Trials

I was at IAAPA and I visited the Mauher Sohne booth, and I got to sit in the new X seat. It was pretty comfortable, the hydraulic restraints pin your thighs and waist in, and hold you in very good (they had it spin upside down on an axis) The only part I didn't like was the seat comes up on either side of you, right behind your elbows, blocking your arms from going back. Just wondering if anyone else tried them and what they thought.

I gotta go to an IAAPA convention: they sound fun! :)

I had talked to Sean about them, and he was raving about them. He said that they were very comfortable.

These were some the the most comfortable restraints ever, and they are expected to use them for all types of crazy inversions (according to the layouts on display). The bar is a U-shape, and opens up to one side. They can accomodate riders of all sizes comfotably, and do not put your body in an extreme fetal position like others I have used in the past. Hopefully Maurer Sohne did good this year, as their booth was one of the most innovative ones at the show.

They are currently even testing the x-seat going through inversions on their spinning cars.
Inverting while freely spinning sounds absolutely amazing.
