One of Thunderhead's lead cars Unveiled!

I'm glad they didn't put a Locomotive cut-out on the front. I Thought they would considering the eyes on the front of OZWC's trains.

Really nice color scheme, and the wood on the running boards and sides of the trains looks nice. Seems like it will fit in with Thunderhead's theming good, just like the TT's trains did with it's theme.

It really looks awsome up close. I can't wait to see the entire train together and rolling along the track. The weatherd rusty look is great!

Wow! That looks really good. I am very impressed with some of the custom stuff on the Millenium Flyers, like the eyes on Ozark Wildcat and the lettering on this one. Very cool!

Perfect. Absolutely perfect. The Thunderhead on the lead car looks great.

I absolutely love it. Looks much better than it did Oct. 5th! How nicely it complements their Arrow looper.....both in name and color scheme.

That is THE sweetest looking lead car on a train I've seen in ages. I'll be there opening day.

Yea it looks very nice. But I still think I like the cat eyes on the Wildcat better. I would love very much to go to Dollywood next Spring and ride it.

Dollywood is moving really fast with Thunderhead's construction. I'm going to the park next weekend, and I'll post my pics on Webshots.

Those trains do look pretty good, however the "running rust" looks too fake and painted on. They do get props though for putting something on the grille that actually looks good (the eyes no Wilcat are hideous).

Wow those are pretty cool. But like Sawblade said, the eye's of Ozark Wildcat are much better!

Did anyone visit the booth at IAAPA? The wood model that was made looks amazing. I was talking to the guy who made it (forgot his name), also showed an awesome picture of Ozark Wildcat at the 65* banked turn, with a man standing next to it. The ride looks BAD (in a good way) can't wait to ride it.

Three things.

1. -- Chris has always been an amazing model builder. Probably because, if I remember correctly, he was formerly a CAD teacher.

2. -- I really want to redesign his website.

3. -- Am I not the only one really disturbed by 'Eve the Body Coaster'?

That coaster has no lift, weird.

Eve was made for some guy in England. Chris just made it because the guy wanted it to resemble the curves of a woman. It is really cool looking. I was lucky enough to go to it's unveiling at Chris's house a few months ago. He had most of his other models there as well. I heard the guy is taking the credit for building it as well. :(

Think of Eve more as a sculpture rather than a coaster. Thats why she doesn't have a lift or a station. I could just imangine where the tunnel would be! ;) *** Edited 11/24/2003 6:52:30 PM UTC by coasterpunk***

Well -- it's not that Chris is weird for building Eve. Sometimes, we do what we need to do to get paid. Nor is it that Eve isn't a terribly appealing coaster, either, because that can be said of lots of rides.

But, uh, what disturbs me is the weird idea of combining one's love of roller coasters with one's love of sensuality. They are, in my mind, meant to be two entirely separate spheres of interest. It's a wee bit creepy in that "Ooh, wowie, it's Mystique" comic-fanboy way.

Ahh...Regina at Tobu Zoo park comes to mind. I guess this is obsession at its finest. I thought the name Eve: the body coaster was a bit corny though.
