Okay, so I know that this song is *heavily* based on a piece of classical music, but I can't remember what the name of it is.

Does anyone know what the original piece was called?

I'm thinking it's called Winter, but I'm not 100% sure.

Kakumei = Chopin's "Revolutionary Etude"
End of the Century = Beethoven's "Ode to Joy"
Speed over Beethoven = Beethoven's "Fur Elise"

I did know that, and it is also freaking hard, though not as hard as A Oni. Then again, I've only played A Oni once. Maybe if I ever get another long arcade session again in my life, I'll pass it. In the meantime, you whippersnappers are passing me by. ;)

Eh, moderately related again - what video game does the 8-bit come from in Burning Heat! ? I've heard everything from Zelda to Contra to Metroid...

Gradius II for the Famicom. It was never released in the U.S.... we got Life Force instead, which was awesome, so no complaints.

btw, that's why it's called the "Three-Option Mix." In the Gradius games you could get "options," or little ghost ships that would travel beside you and fire when you did.
