ACE dissapointment

I was at Cedar Point on Sat 10/25 and waiting in line for TTD. It was raining and the ride op had just come on the PA saying "TTD is down for weather...yada yada yada...also no sitting on the handrails and no smoking in any lines. Thank you."

No sooner did she say that than three guys in a couple rows next to me light up. This furiated me. First, she just said there was no smoking. Secondly, my g/f has asthma and can't be around cigarette smoke for a long period of time. And it's not like we can go anywhere.

My biggest gripe, though, was that one of them was wearing an ACE jacket. I was extremely dissapointed in the fact that this guy couldn't follow the rules. This is another reason Enthusiasts are being warned, not just for ride safety, but for overall courtesy at the parks.

Shivering Timbers - Most underrated coaster Ever?

I think this anti-ACE stuff may be going a bit too far at this point. I mean, lots of people smoke in line even though it says not to. I doubt that a higher percentage of ACE members smoke in line than non ACE members. I guess I could be wrong. Most ACE members that I have met are nice people.
