Where to find coaster pics?

Do you any of you know where I can find some nice 8X10 out to poster size photos of coasters? I've just recently moved out of my apartment and am now renting a house and the misses has giving me free reign over decorating my computer room. I'd like to get some nice black and white or color photos and frame them.

If I were you, I'd pick up a decent 2 megapixel digital and take them yourself (if 8x10 is all you want).

If you want something bigger, take a regular photo and have them blow it up to poster size at your local drugstore. I have a couple posters blown up from regular photos. The results were pretty good.

Thanks for the input. I've thought of this and may well do it. I have a 3.2MP camera and a friend of mine has a really slick 5MP Canon.

I was just wondering if anything professional was out there for sale. I'm particularly interested in aerials.

Try hunting around a little. You might come up with something. for instance here is a photographer's site that offers prints ofvarious subjects including numerous pictures of Virginia's defunct Lakeside Park. Here is another that offers aerials of Cedar Point.

There's probably more out there but you have to around outside of the usual amusement park links.

They used to specialize in coaster photos, especially aerial ones. I'm fairly certain they still do.

A good digital cam and access to a print shop or photo lab is all you need, for both B&W and color.

A few office supply stores like Officemax or Kinko's can do them for you also, and run a bit cheaper than photo places. The quality is just as good if you have a digital. If it's film I would stick with a photo lab. As you know film is a little more difficult to work with.

However I did work for a print shop and took a lot of my film and digital coaster photos in and made some pretty decent mini-posters...up to 11X17 with a little help from good ole' Photoshop on a few. ;-)

Just shop around and you won't be dissapointed. I have been meaning to make some of my finer photos into full posters.

If you go to any coaster events (especially ACE events) you can find a lot of posters for sale by various vendors, or sometimes you can even write to certain parks and a few will be glad to mail you some promo material. :-)
