Six Flags World of Adventure...

I am thinking about visiting SFWoA this summer but will have some people with me who are not into rollercoasters... My question is, is there enought for someone to do at SFWoA for a day, without riding any coasters?

Honestly there really is not enough to do on the SFO side to do for people who will ride ever single ride in the park to make it last the whole day....Unless they happen to take in multiple rides. I was through the park in 2.5 hours last year. Now with the Sea World being added into the equation...that will up the ante a bit.

But maybe I caught it on an off day. LOL!

Beast is right the whole SW buyout makes this a WHOLE nother story. But there's also the part if you have kids or not. if you do have kids you might be able to pull off just the old SFO side in an average 10 hour day (family speaking). Boomtown is one heck of a kids play area. I could spend all day there myself (if they would let me).
Another part is, do you want to go to the waterpark? The waterpark is very nice and of course newly remodeled. They have one of the best lazy rivers and a great wave pool to lay around in all day. If you do the waterpark then I would say yes, you could probably do it. Some people leave the park at 8pm some at 10pm that also makes a huge difference in things.
Another thing is crowds crowds crowds. Days very there so much. Some times it's heavy sometimes it's light. This of course will make your day long on short. I wish I could tell you what days are what, but it's very hard to do with a big, new, and upcoming park like this.
When SFWoA connects and adds some nice sit down restaraunts, you're looking at spending a whole day there then. Hope this helps, and enjoy!

If you ride every coaster, the freefall ride, and the flat rides at a nice casual pace, taking time to eat and go to the water attractions and water park, you can EASILY spend a good 10-12 hours in the park. With the Marine side now, I am sure everyone in the family will have something to do.

10 Coasters + Freefall + Motion Sim
8 or so flat rides
3 Water Rides
Water Park
Marine Shows
Boomtown Kiddie Area
Sea World Kiddie Area
A Few SF Shows (Batman, Magic, Country Music)

That is all I can think of that is there, definately enough for a dya.

The SWO part will proboly be the part where your friends will be the most. The reason is because theere are some shows(if SFWoA still kept them) and the animals.

Frankly, I'd suggest waiting til next year. The former Six Flags Ohio does not have a lot to offer those who don't ride rides. You might want to give Six Flags some time to integrate the former Sea World operations before visiting.
