Fun!
It made me wonder....is this my oldest coaster ever? Is it older than Coney Island's Cyclone? Hmmm.
But enough about me...what about you?
What are your three oldest coasters???

2. Jack Rabbit - Kennywood - 1921
3. Big Dipper - SFWOA - 1926
Ok I've edited my oldest since some people here don't count the Thunderbolt at Kennywood as being from 1924. Still parts of it are. I kind of thought that was going to happen. Plus, I just realized how old Zippin Pippin really is - wow!

Also about that age was the Runaway Coaster at Rotunda Park -- nobody seems to know the exact age of that side-friction coaster, but it's probably pre-1920 at least, which would knock Jackrabbit out of this discussion for me.
Wild One at SFA is pretty old, as well -- it opened in 1917 as Giant Coaster at Paragon Park. It was moved in 1986. I've ridden it as Wild One, but before the move, so I'm not sure I'd count as that old (I suppose the same argument could be applied against Runaway Coaster, actually).
Thunderbolt isn't really from 1924, by the way. The Pippen operated from 1924 to 1967, then was radically reprofiled into Thunderbolt in 1968. Saying the Thunderbolt is from 1924 is like saying Phantom's Revenge is from 1991 -- parts of it certainly are, but not the ride as a whole.

2.) Thunderbolt at KW, Giant Dipper at SCBB - 1924
3.) Giant Dipper at Belmont Park - 1925
I know Thunderbolt itself isn't from 1924 because of the butt slamin bowl (as I call it) added for '68. Funny how I absolutly adore each one of these coasters more so than many modern day woodies.
