Universal and Six Flags

I live in L.A., and a friend of mine is visiting me from out of town over this Labor Day weekend. He would like to go to SFMM or Universal Studios Hollywood. Does anyone have any tips as far as crowds over this holiday weekend (Sat, Sun, or Mon)?

Well wouldn't you know best, living in LA and all? I dunno, just my walnut brain thinking. Anyhoot, I heard that parks are usually less empty on Labor day.

Yes, I live in L.A., but no, I wouldn't know. I just moved here from the midwest, and I have not been to either park on Labor Day weekend to find out. I probably should have clarified that one!
