Six Flags New Park Rumor???

My girlfriend works at a transportation company, and several of the truck drivers say that they have to deliver parts of rides and such to a spot off of I-4, somewhere outside of Orlando. She was driving by the area the other day and said that she saw MASSIVE construction, clearing up a huge area of land, about the size that could hold a park. I haven't seen this yet, but I wanted to ask my expert friends here at CoasterBuzz to see if they had heard any of this information about this "new park".

I live here in Florida and I haven't heard anything about a new park.

However, Universal has begun to receive track for the new Mummy coaster. Also, Animal Kingdom has begun site prep for the Everest coaster but I am sure they are not ready to receive ride pieces yet.

Whatever it is, it's certainly not a new Six Flags park.

Six Flags couldn't afford a new park. They can't afford their current parks! :)

LOL, P-body....so true!

Goes *completely* against SF's standard practice to build a park from scratch....the closest they COULD have come to FL would have been to purchase Wild Adventures...and I don't think Kent Buescher is interested in selling....;)

I can't believe that anyone could get the permits, etc. to build a new park without it hitting the new long before rides are delivered.

It isn't gonna be an SF park that's for sure.
