PKI Death

I'm really very suprised that I havent seen anything posted about the recent death at PKI. Does anyone have any input or information on this. I personally know nothing more than the simple fact that something caused a female to die after riding a thrill ride, as local media worded it in a 11 news teaser.

Yes, it is true. It happened on Top Gun today when a lady had a heart attack on the ride. She had the unknown pre-existing condition of an enlarged heart. No name. And please no speculation. All that is fact.

The woman (Mother of Four) Was determined to have died from a heart attack. Autopsy revieled that she was suffering from a enlarged heart and also had high blood pressure. Both conditions she may not have known she had.

I do believe it happened last week... since the ride was closed down for a few days for no apparent reason.

what a muck raking headline!

Fortunately the article was more objective, but most people probably only absorbed the headline. Heats attacks happen all the time. Every once in a while the person happens to be on a coaster. Yes the stress and excitement of the ride might be the immediate trigger, but in all probability something else would have triggered the heart attack soon.

There have been a lot of accidents this year and its nto even August.

How sad, It sure makes you think. With a history of health concerns I get on and don't even think about things like this happening. How sad for the little boy beside her.
