Ever stand up quickly and grey out? There is no difference in your bodies view.

I doubt this discussion thread is fueling any fires. The people seeking federal oversight of rides are more concerned with permanent brain injury, and not graying out, which, as MagnumForce points out, can happen if you stand up too quickly.

And I can assure you that I've experienced gray-outs on multiple rides, in various cool-weather conditions. It's not simply due to just heat or dehydration. My gray-outs all occurred in high-G areas of the ride, e.g., between Shockwave's 2nd and 3rd loops, or on B:TR's turnaround following the third inversion. Tunnelvision isn't something you can easily mistake for something else.

A lot of hypers include a high g helix, (S: RoS, Nitro, Goliath, Titan...). If S: RoS had more drops insted of the helixes it would be a better ride.

LMAO @ Vater!!!... That sounds like my trip to Dorney in 2001... but it was a bit cooler at like 184 degrees... but the humidity had to be about 127% I greyed out on Talon so many times that I forgot how to walk :)

I once felt like I was going to grey out on a boomerang. I don't know why though...
