Batman closed all day

I was at SFGAm yesterday and noticed that Batman was closed. I have never seen this coaster closed before. and It ended up being closed all day. Does anyone know why?

hey so was i it was kinda busey but had a good day. no but i heard someone say it was because not enough help.

Batman The Ride is closed for mechanical reasons and will be back up on Monday.

You just can't count on anything anymore! Man, you think that a coaster would go at least 15 years without breaking down, but.. They should just tear down Batman. </sarcasm>

You're kidding, RIGHT?!?!?! This Saturday is Superhero Saturday at Six Flags with ERT on Batman and Superman. If this is true, I hope another ride is added in its place. Anyone know why it's closed?

Yes, this is True. The ACE Regional Rep has e-mailed me and told me it was closed for mechanical reasons. But they will have V2 ERT instead. I believe that he e-mailed everyone who is going to Superhero Saturday, so you should have gotten e-mail from him.

Carlo, Do you know exactly what's wrong with it?

Of all the rides they could've picked,why V2. After you've been on it as many times as I have, It's just boring.

And you haven't ridden B:TR a million times either? It's been around many years more than V2, Shockwave...

Blinks Drake, I do not know what is wrong with B: TR. All the e-mail says that it's Broken Down and will not open till Monday.

SFGam ShockWave, I think they picked V2 because it is the closest ride to Superman and it the 2nd Newest operating Coaster at SFGAM.

I know. My point is the other rides have more stuff and don't get boring as quickly. V2 is just spiral tower, straight tower, repeat 3 times.

Please refresh my memory... WHY are you complaining about ERT on Superman and V2?!

ERT on V2 is a great alternative.

I like the idea of getting off and picking a different seat without a long wait.

Besides , as mentioned above, V2 is the closest coaster to Superman. You have 1 hour to do ERT. Do you want to cover 2 coasters that are on opposite sides of the park?

Of course even a better alternative would be Raging Bull and Viper. :)

V2 in trade (the best impulse out there IMO)....yeah, that totally sucks....riiiiiggghhhht (courtesy of 'Playa).

Due to a detectable increase in sarchasm lately, I'll point out now for the slow of wit what I meant...it is *totally* absurd for anyone to complain...V2 roXors!!!

I was at SFGAm today and Batman opened later in the day.

The only way V2 can replace a B:TR,is if it's over 300ft tall.

You shouldnt be complaining...Six Flags could of just had ERT on just superman but decided to open another coaster in place of Batman instead of just having 1 coaster...Consider your self lucky and dont take advantage...No one is forcing you to go on V2...if you dont want to ride it since you've been on it "millions of times" then dont go on it!?
