What is Steel Freeform

What is it?

Isn't it like Millennium Force? Not quite a twister and not quite an out-and-back.

I believe PT300 hit it right on the head. A coaster that cannot be classified as one of the two main classic designs, an out and back, or a twister (I don't know if a terrain coaster is a classic design also), is simply known as and classified as a freeform. A steel freeform is just a, well, steel freeform coaster. I'm sure that there can be a wooden freeform too.

Steel Freeform...kinda sounds futuristic to me...:)

I saw it mentioned at www.coasterforce.com It's in the new site section on the Coasterbuzz homepage.

They say free form is basicly all B&M's Mantis, Chang, Kumba, Wildfire etc.. Then they also stated Apollos Chariot is a Freeform as well. I personally think it's just another name for a steel twister.
