King Cobra found in PKI

I was ridding Flight of Fear and saw the King Cobra trains for the coaster sitting in the building. I know the ride has been for sale. Does anyone know why the trains are still at PKI and not another park. Hate to see this old ride rust away just sitting there.

You answered your own question. The ride is for sale. When the ride gets sold, I'm sure the trains will follow.

When you sell a car, you don't put the tires elsewhere, do you?

Don't worry about it. I'm sure that, in just a few weeks as King's Island realize they're violating the SBNO or In Storage Act of 2003, they'll be turning the ride over to someone in Indiana, or maybe North Carolina, and it'll get erected pronto. . .

. . . and, if the rumors I've heard are correct, the new park will be using 1,245 Screamin' Serpent sets to add an addition loop and 211' drop to the end of the ride.

Gee, I heard it was going to a new park in Indiana where all roller coasters are safe from destruction and harm. ;) Isn't this the same park operated by 13 and 14 year olds? ;) Check ARN&R if you don't understand...

If I can't get this ride shipped to Terra Mitica, I'm just not worth my salt as an enthusiast OR as a business major...;) C'mon, can there be a better fit for KC?

I whated to know why the cars are in the Flight of Fear building and not some where else in the park so people can no see them.

Once again, you've answered your own question. You just said you were riding FOF and noticed the trains. If they're in the same "room" as the coaster itself, *most* people won't see them...

Where exactly did you see the cars? Were they in the actual building or around the brake run? I have only rode FOF once this year because of the lines but I didn't see them.

I was in such awe at the power of Flight of Fear last night that if there was anything to see, I sure as hell didn't see it. My brain was still somewhere in the top of the building.

They did SOMETHING to it Jeff, that's for sure. At CBC last year, it was nearly valleying (or so it felt), but last Thursday before SRM, it motored like no spaghetti bowl I had ever ridden. Crazzzy.

Yeah it actually tweaked my back in the cobra a few weeks back, and it was in the complete dark (no lights on AT ALL). It was the best ride I've ever had on it thats for sure! It was hauling butt, it seems like they cranked up the launch 10 mph or something, its flying like a bat outa hell!

Wrong! Try again.

Speaking of King Cobra, those of us who went BeastBuzz saw the whole damn thing.

All of the track for King Cobra is by some building if you look behind you on SOB's lift you can see it. I also noticed that FOF has seemed a lot faster this year.
