terrible TTD

TTD is a very good ride but it is also bad. My friend just went to Cedar Point and he said TTD was shut down due to problems all morning and when they finally got it up @1 he said it broke down 4 times (while he was in line). So what's your opinion. Is it becouse it is a new ride and it needs to be broken in or is it becouse of bad quality? (Wicked Twister also broke down the most last year at Ceder Point, Millinium force is 2nd) AND these are all Intamin's, So is it Intamin fault?

Thats just Cedar Point for ya Sure they got tons of coasters and "the biggest and fastest" but thats all a load of crap if they cant keep them running.

Every time I went there I have only seen Millium force shut down once, and wicked twister shut down. I have hade very good luck but many other people also complain about the quality.

Since I and most other posters here don't know what the problems have been, it is impossible to say.

MF has been pretty reliable, though it took a massive effort the first year due mostly to wheel problems. On the other hand, some of Intamin's rides have less than sterling records. Certainly they don't have B&M's record for smooth startups.

Most of these Dragster topics are very similar. Give it a rest! As far as the new coaster, it's brand new, it's the beginning of the season.......let it break in. I don't mean to complain, but has anyone else rode any other new coasters other than TTD?

For the rest of the coasters at CP, they sit unused for 6 months (1/2 year) in the cold winter on Lake Erie. It takes a little time for them to operate correctly.

Well that's funny i have herd nothing but bad things from SF parks, mostly SF Worlds of Adventure. I herd that that is the worst park in the world.

SFWoA has really turned its self around. They have improved almost everything that was wrong with the park.

Well, seeing as how this thread will close soon due to the fan boys coming out of the closet, rest assured TTD will be running smoothly someday. When that will be, who knows, and frankly, who cares? It is unique, and apparently pretty badass. Give the TTD bashing a rest.
