According to papers filed in Orange County, Cedar Fair has applied for a variance, and it's for a "Impulse - Giga-Coaster", by requesting an addtional "three foot park variance" for the construction of two 300' twin towers in the "Northwest" corner of the property. As for noise, the following info was added "Linear Induction Motors, Solid "Box-Track", "covered station", "Other noises projected vertically in all directions due to seat orientation", "Horizontal Passes at High Speed", "Noise Levels comparable or less than that of "Supreme Scream" due to ride speed." Imagine the possibilities of a park that only needs a property line variance. This would mean they can build all they want to 300'. It looks like this is a S:UE copy, but to hit 300' they would probably have to cut out the twist. I don't think it could handle it. 300' would require about 95MPH to get up there. S:UE wobbles enough as it is. And if I'm not mistaken, it sounds like "Facing eachother cars".
