They can have it restored to a completely functioning machine again. It will cost them a bundle, however, as it was neglected for a large part of it's life there. I know of a French built salon carousel that is in a private collection here in the US that cost several million to bring back up to snuff. I imagine that the La Ronde's machine would cost close to that. I seem to recall that it wasn't as big as the machine that I mentioned above. I would surmise also that they couldn't send it down to the states for work without running afoul of the laws of Canada, and the province of Quebec. I would suspect that SF couldn't piece it out, either, without causing a furor. I doubt that corporate is willing to spend six figures on a ride that has a rph of barely 200.Quite frankly, I think it's going to be in that warehouse for a while.
