It's so slooooooooooow. The Flash doesn't pre-load. There's unnecessary Java that doesn't even load (the ride section), what a hack job.

I know. I just gave up on waiting for the rides section to load. I guess that they expect everyone to have DSL or Cable, but unfortunately that just isn't the case.

I do have DSL... averaging 650 kbits download speed. The problem is with them.

Then if you think loading the site is a hassle with DSL, try doing it with a dial-up modem!

DSL?? hahah!! Cable rules!
Jeff

Cable rules? Rules what? It's not dedicated bandwidth, it's shared. That means if your neighbor is a porn addict, your connection is slow.
If you're going to start a tech holy war, at least give me something better than "rules" or "sucks."

DSL and cable modem both suck if you've got access to a site that has a trio of T1s and PacketShaper to clamp down on the Napster users...

I don't start wars! Plus I live in an area with few families, and not too many own computers, so my connection is always fast..
Wait a minute I do start wars...

Hopefully, the current site is a test version.

I have a cable modem and it works just fine and dandy. Like Jeff said, it's a shared bandwidth. I am pulling down almost a T1. Who knows how long that is going to last. When it does start getting slow I'll be the first one to jump to DSL.

Getting back on-topic, did anyone notice how all, and I'm talkin'
all references to Steel Phantom are gone? I guess they're pretty embarrassed about that...

No, but I don't remember anything about the Bat on the old site. On the contrary, though, Steel Phantom was mentioned in a few different places before the old site came down.
(Note: I could be wrong, but like I say, I don't remember
the Bat being mentioned.) -------------
