With 'rollerocaster' season quickly coming, an interesting thought occured to me. I, like many in my neighborhood, fly decorative flags at times to celebrate holidays, or just to add color and motion.
I am curious if anybody has any leads on rollercoaster, carnival, or amusement park related decorative flags. I tried a websearch, which came up empty handed which does not surprise me for such a niche market product.
(To head off the comment I see coming, yes I do have multiple flagpoles...)

The best place IMO to go find them is at Antique stores. In Ohio it's pretty easy to find old and some new coaster related things (due to all the MANY parks Ohio had at one point.) I have found many different flags of shapes and sizes doing that...not to mention some other cool things.
Another way I have gathered things is find someone inside the park you know, and on closing weekends most parks get rid of a TON of things. I have gathered some neat stuff from some PA and Ohio parks going on their last days or during the last week days (when their closed and cleaning up).
Like Dave said...sometimes it just might be easier to make one though :) Good luck!
