those results were pretty much the same as when I voted and I still can't believe that Texas Giant go rated so high. I thought that everyone always bashed that ride. still, if those results are true, I have to travel more 'cause ST was the most amazing thing I've ridden and that's at the bottom.

Now that you mention it, I suppose I *could* have been more clear...the "victory" I was referring to was for MY vote, LOL....ya know, the only one that really counts...;)

Raven WILL remind me how good it is, and then I'll be in a quandary all over again...:). It's like a parent trying to decide which child they love more...

...just so ya didn't vote for G-Dub again...;) For me, they (Raven and Phoenix) really are 1 and 1a, along with Cornball, which they are *improving*...huh? Only in IN...:) Rampage I hope to get this year, TX Giant probably next year....and as for Timbers, been there done that...;)

Actually, I'm glad Psyclone isn't on the list... you know there would be sick freaks (like me) who, even though they dispise the ride, would vote for it over and over.

Here's an interesting thought... could the reason that Phoenix is scoring so low on this poll be because so few members of the GP have ridden it, or even know it exists?

I bet the current results have to do with Texas Giant and Raven being featured on Discovery Channel shows before, whereas the other three haven't (as far as I know). Visitors to the Web site probably are avid DC viewers and vote what they know.

Phoenix has been featured on many Discovery shows, including a few of their "Top 10 Coasters" shows. IMHO it should be getting the second-highest number of votes, with Rampage, TX Giant, and Timbers coming in as 3, 4, and 5, respectively. But that's just how I feel.

It does seem odd to me that Raven (despite it being an awesome coaster) is THAT far ahead of the rest.
