Exporting No Limits?

I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to export the track files created in no limits to 3ds? I want to try some stuff in3d studio. Any help would be great!!!!

I don't think that this is possible, because the trackfiles contain much extra information, such as station settings and liftspeeds etc. But the first step may be a sort of OpenGl reader or so ??

I don't know.... Is there any programmers out there that might know about this? It just sems to me that this would be possible. You can import RCT tracks so why can't you export also?

Actually we have a programmer working on this very thing. When complete the feature will be available as a plugin in the editor and will export the NLTRACK path as a 3DS mesh. This will be useful as a visual aid in doing things such as modeling custom tunnels and terrains. No word on a release date but we'll keep you informed.

Hey Phyter, ever since you mentioned you are working on this i have been very interested. I was just wondering if there are any new updates or news about this feature? Could it be included with v1.3?

No it's a third party effort and won't be included in the update. And that third party is in school right now so there's no telling when he'll have the time to complete the plugin.
