Has Intamin come back or what?

I mean if you look back, you wouldn't of thought of intamin to be a real good quality coaster company. But now just look at such rides as Millennium Force, Superman:Ride Of Steel, Volcano:Blast Coaster, and Superman:Ultimate Escape. Also there other rides like Giant Drop and Pitfall. I may be wrong though. I'm not sure when the company started to build amusement park rides.

Intamin has been around for a while. B&M came from Intamin and they (intamin, not B&M) built the American Eagle (1981) and the Whizzer (1976) at Six Flags Great America a long time ago.

I think they have made a comeback. Just with MF(CP)and Superman:The Escape(SFMM).

I think Flashback to Millenium Force is one big *** change.

Also I think that they're sitdown looper, Monte something looks like it should be a bigger deal then it is and should be duplicated. (The one with eight inversions)

Intamin has definitely gotten back on the map. Lets hope that Arrow can do the same thing with their 4D coasters.

Intamin sold the Whizzer, but it was designed and built by Schwarzkopf.

Intamin has made somewhat of a comeback, but don't forget about Colosus at SFMM, or the bobsled coasters they did. They have progressed over the years though, for example, Jr. Gemini to Millennium Force.

If the 4D works out, I think arrow would be the #1 on the come back list.

Intamin has been around since at least 1972 because they built Paramount`s Kings Island`s Eiffel Tower (which opened in `72)

Monte makaya IS being Duplicated.
Just with 2 extra inversions at Thorpe Park in 2002

Intamin has made a HUGE comeback. I don't know if I prefer Intamin or B&M. I want to try a B&M hyper. By the way, does anyone know where I might find some in depth info on Intamin to write something like a ThrillRide! Designer Profile on them. Their site doesn't really have a company background.

I agree with the comeback issue. I mean it was just Arrow for a while and then B&M came along, but now you've got all sorts of solid steel competition. BTW I love the box design for the track

I think intamin has always been around but known more for their other rides such as the rapid rides, and recently they put there roller coaster designing into high gear.

Yeah I never knew that some of the water rides at
SFGAm were made by Intamin. That's sort of interesting.
