Standard Coaster is not possible with the train above the track. With it below the track it is either -180 or +180 depending on which way you want to rotate.
Lying down is -90 when the train is above the track and +90 when below the track.
Check out Distortion for a working example of rotations on a multi-dimensional coaster.

For example, at the start (train on top of tracks), an angle of zero is facing backwards, upright. When the train is inverted, zero is facing backwards upside-down.
It's difficult and confusing to keep track of. It would have been nice if the user interface had shown a picture of the seat oriented with respect to the TRACK, so it'd be easier to construct. In fact, this sort of change would be a great update in the expansion pack...
A guide would be nice. I used a little makeshift model I made out of an empty pack of cigarettes with two pieces of paper thumbtacked to the side - crude but effective. A few coaster designs using that and I have it down.

I once used to completely mess up the design. In real-life the peeps would have been killed on the ride, but the ratings stayed the same, after I redesigned the positions.
Anyway, its nearly impossible to get decent ratings on the 4-D

I spent a lot of time messing with designs for the official contest. The seat rotation sequence does not change the ratings one bit - better or worse. Don't have them rotate at all, have them just do 360's for the entire course, punch in random rotations - all 3 will end up with the same stats on the same layout. Of course it looks better if they rotate and it makes sense.
