I personally like the colors. It is very eye catching. Originally the ride was supposed to be grey, from what I have been told. However they wanted it to have more"zing" for promotional purposes. Thus the colors were changed to better fit Action Zone. I believe that is one of the (minor)reasons that the announcement was held off, they changed the colors. Notice that it matches Face/Off.
The picture of the steps in the Scooby photo is showing how the path from the midway will venture through the main castle entrance gate, across a bridge, then down those steps to the interior queue line.

The load/unload area is the same on Scooby as it was on Phantom Theatre with a few minor differences:
There are now "windows" in which you see scenes "outside" the castle.
The operators booth is now enclosed.
The flooring has been re-covered.

They are the same as TR:TR You might even have a bit more shoulder room because of the outside of the loop instead of straight seating.
