Deja Vu in movie preview.

I was watching Coming Attractions and in the preview for some movie about Folk Music by the same people that did Best in Show there was Deja Vu. I think it was named like Invertigo or something like that. Did anyone see that besides me, I think It was SFGA's one.

The movie's title is "A Mighty Wind" http://amightywindonline.warnerbros.com/

It is the Deja Vu at SFMM. I am positive of it.

I was going to post the same topic but I don't know what came over me and I knew about the roller coaster on saturday. Anyway, I just wanna say that this movie will most likely be very funny and All of u should go and take a look at it

How many films have had scenes at SFMM? I remember Vacation (the Griswold's ride the Buccaneer, Colossus, and Revolution) and True Romance (the drug dealers ride Viper). Are there any others?

At one time Colossus was generally considered the most photograhed (and filmed) coaster in the world, simply due to its proximity to Hollywood. I'm sure there are hundreds of films, TV shows, etc that have featured SFMM and its rides.

And dont forget California Man which shows footage of Viper at SFMM, and a shot of the actors riding the Rapids too.

But yes, I think you're right, it seems quite a lot of parks in California feature in films, but thats no suprise because of Hollywood so close(Beverly Hill Cop 3 shows lots of good footage at PGA for example and even has that brief scene from Universal Studios)

If "Mighty Wind" is as good as "Best In Show" and "Waiting For Guffman" count me in! I loved both those films ;)

"Best in Show", in one word, roxors! The DVD just got a price slash a couple weeks ago, so buy it if you haven't!! =^p

Christopher Guest is a genious! I love the way he does his films. He gives lets his actors have total freedom to invent their characters and even their dialogue. His scripts are basically an outline of action and the entire movie is virtually adlibbed. From "This Is Spinal Tap" to "Waiting For Guffman" to "Best In Show" he just keeps getting better and better.
