Just waiting for May 4, 2003. :)
(Am I the only one who is thanking my lucky stars that Mean Streak did not get Six Flag'ized?) (Note: with the exception of a few Six Flags parks such as SFGAm the Six Flags chain is not known for well maintained woodies.)

Actually Premier(who now run SF) has built very few woodies, and the one's they have, I'd say are very well taken care of( Roar, for example). It's the older wooden coasters that they've inheirited, that they haven't bothered to invest in restoring, that give SF the bad rep for wooden coasters.
Just when you think SF completely destroys wooden coasters, they pull a Roar(east and west), Wild One, Thunder Run, Viper on you. CF's track record is a bit more shady, but they do pride themsleves on maintaining their CCI's.
Ok, back to Mantis... ;)
Viper was put in before Premier bought Six Flags. Just thought I'd point that out.
Also, my impression of Cedar Fair's woddies isn't bad at all... I've ridden blue Streak, and heard abut Timbers, plus they're taking care of the inherited Gostrider. What do you expect from Mean Streak and Hercules, really? They're Summers and Dinn monsters.
And "Premier" doesn't run Six Flags. They changed the name. Six Flags is not a seperate entity.

Rentzy- Where I work, we give riders that have to be evacuated off of a ride complimetary passes. If they have a season pass they can give the ticket to a friend, or they can be given some food vouchers or something like that.
I've always wanted to be on a vallied coaster, it looks fun swinging back and forth and such.
