Crane back up on TTD...

I checked the cam today for my daily dose of excitedness and i noticed that the crane was back up working on the top of TTD's tophat. Any idea what they may be doing now?

Bleh, I hate Dipin Dots, but haven't had em for awhile because I didn't like em the first time.

Wait, whatever happened to McDonalds?! Whats this Top Thrill Dragster stuff?! =D Is it sinking YET?!

Construction notes said they still had to install the elevator. Maybe that?

Its obviously for the rotating McDonald's that they still have to install. Or maybe they are going to remove about 150ft of the tower. Cedar Point was just trying to trick us. Don't you remember all of the people on this site that were saying they KNEW it was NOT going to be 420ft tall??? They really did KNOW.

Seriously though, I noticed that the rest of the track on the pull-up has been installed, maybe it was for that. Unless they are working on the tower. If thats the case then they are most likely finishing the elevator or installing the lights.

It's a multi-purpose crane....for the elevator, the pull-thru, AND the rotating McDonald's on top....

bill, saying THIS McDonald's Playplace is gonna have one HUGE kiddie-slide...

I'm not positive, but i'm pretty sure it isn't a pull through already. We still haven't seen anything on there being a train or even just a car around. But I could easily be wrong.

Perhaps that kiddie slide dumps you into the world's largest ball pit! But really folks, the reason for the crane is the sudden realization that the height record will be broken by only a few feet (as usual) within a month. Thus, the coaster to surpass TTD is already being fabricated, and CP, having learned from the MF/Steel Dragon fiasco, is now adding 20 more feet to the top.....

All of you guys are way off base. They're using the crane to install the flux capacitor, which is needed to generate 1.21 jiggawatts of power for the launch.
