Really Fast School Help needed

Hey everybody, a science project i was going to do for my 8th grade science fair didnt work. I need to have a new one soon. My project has to test things, and be able to measure them in metric. Can anyone help me, I would appreciate the help. Also, I will have to be able to do this at my home in st louis.

Last year I built a model roller coaster of the Achter Bahn and explained the differences between the real ride and the HO scale model. I tested both of their speeds in the metric system.

Well, what things would you like to test? Monto has a good suggestion. I doubt you'd have enough time, but anything specific?

What I did Last year for my 7th grade science fair project was I tested how Angle,length, height affected the speed of a roller coasters drop I used the screeming serpant knex set it was cool but confusing.

22 diffrent coasters ridden this year

I dont really know if theres anything specific. I want it to be a neat experiment, when looking for ideas last night, i found a couple of cool ones. Like which paper bridge design holds the most weight, or which design of a balloon powered car is the fastest. but i would still like it to be roller coaster related.

Anther cool idea would be to take a couple of those Six Flags cool coaster sets and build a couple different launch systems. Like useing the launcher that comes with the set as a LIM and you can build 'push car' type launching system by useing some string, a weight at on end and use popsicle sticks, cut and clue them together to fit on the track and use that as a push car. Build a simple shuttle coaster, and compare the difference between to two launch systems.
