Well, I could understand if I were one of those people. But what I am saying is, is that there so few Rollercoaster deaths, that there is no reason to get all serious and stuff. Get what I am saying?

Actually I don't think anyone has died physically in or on a rollercoaster they were either ejected or hit by it. Most deaths result from heart or brain complications after they exit the ride so that doesn't really count.

It was a joke more people die on amtrak accidents per year and jay leno pokes fun at that all the time and no one cares. Lighten up.

New for 2002 @ SFoT - STOP!!!

I think the coaster they're writing about is Eurostar, the travelling inverted.
It pulverizes you by bumping you around with unsmooth transitions between track pieces and a final brake that feels like a brick wall... at least lift hill is so loud that it deafens you so you can't hear that well how you and the others are dying.

Too funny! Terminal Velocity would be a great name for this........

Now wouldnt that be the way to go? I mean instead of the death penalty, have them ride a coaster that does run you into a wall. Much more humane way than lethal injection.

In a follow up story it was said that Pulverizor is being removed before the 2003 season. Seems that initial reaction was good, but the park "had miscalculated the re-ride potential and was greatly disapointed."
