I just got a letter from SFMW and at the end it says. . .

I don't think they have a drop tower. So, that could be an option.

It can't be too tall, they have a 180 foot height limit there. I'm thinking maybe a drop ride of some kind as well, maybe something to start off underground like IOA's Dr. Doom's Freefall.

In the eyes of the public, yes, I think Texas Tornado would be considered tall and fast. In their general opinion, all coasters are tall and fast. ;)

And Kraxleridah, I don't think that would be possible due to the height limits imposed on the park.kRaXLeRidAh

Yeah they wont be building a drop ride after the V2 fiasco

The Texas Tornado is a big small scale coaster, if you will. Confused?

Not confused at all, what looks and seems like a mile of track conveiantly crammed into a tiny footprint, so you and just stick the darn thing anywhere you darn well please.

It's one of the first things you see coming into Houston a few miles out. It won't be there anymore. :(

Looks like some poeple don't knwo their SF parks. kRaX said SF OVER TEXAS not Astroworld. He is thinking along the lines of a new S&S tower. If he really was thinking of Texas Tornado then he was the one that was wrong.

Well, just because SFMW failed to get a variance for V2 doesn't mean they won't be smarter and actually get APPROVAL before exceeeding the local height restriction THIS time...assuming of course they're intending on *tall*. We would HOPE that they've learned the expensive lesson....;)
