Thanks for the info. I was hoping to make that event this coming year. Looks like alot of fun. I have heard great things about that event.

I sure as hell won't miss it this year. If only I had the money to spend the time between SRM and this, might end up having to drive to one and fly to the other.

Yep, those folks at MiA apparently don't check their calendars first....but OTOH, I guess you all with *short summers* have to try and PACK the weekends full of coasting goodness...

bill, saying no T-Fest this year either....:(

Since I probably can't afford CoasterCon, I'll likely be at Timbersfest. Not to mention I had such a grand time last year.

Well, the REAL question is, do I want to go from Pittsburgh to Michigan to Virginia in one weekend? ;)

I'm 'Con-vinced' that you won't find me at Timber Fest.

What *were* they thinking?

bill, looking for some Chitown goons...have them bring me pizza! Glad to hear you'll be at Con, we won't be making Solace this year...:(. SRM, as always, is "mandatory"!

First weekend after finals are over...thank god it's not any sooner.

Well it looks like this might be my first Timbersfest. I've been telling myself (and others) that was going to attend each year since the event first started. I've made promises regarding next year's 'Fest though and so now I am going to have to attend! :)

Don’t think I’ll be attending ether. I should be living in Florida by that time if there are no foreseeable delays. If a delay does happen I’ll be there for sure though! If not then I’ll have to make a “visit” to my family the follow year around the time of T-Fest!!! I’m going to miss timbers & CP………..but the parks are open year round down there, so it’s not all bad I suppose!!!

Well if Kara isn't going to be there, I guess I'll have to go then. Gotta welcome all the T'festers to the festivities if the lady of the wood can't make it. I know I'll be no where near as grand a host as Kara, but I'll do my best. :)

Too bad it's the same weekend as Coastercon.

I'll take Alpengeist, Volcano, XLC, Apollo's Chariot over Shivering Timbers. I guess I'll have to hit up MiA for the first time some other time. Count me in for Timbersfest 2.0, Mike. :)

Timbersfest it one of the best coaster events IMHO! If only for the incredible ERT on ST. The night rides i got in '00 and '01 during the ERTs were probably the best coaster rides I ever had on any coaster. Timber flies during the event, it was timed in 2001 during ERT, one of the Jourdan family members told us it was the fastest ST had ever run. I was so disappointed last year when it was the weekend the ACE con started in CA. I may still fly out to Grand Rapids and hit Timbersfest and come home for the ACE Con on Sunday, since I have some airline miles I can use.

I will be at Coaster Con in Virginia but I plan on hitting Michigan's Adventure shortly after Stark Raven Mad. WOOHOO!...........

By the way Tim, no, you don't need to be an ACE member to attend the ACE events, but you will pay a higher registration fee.
