It,s true i herd it from an A.C.E. rep. a third
set of braks needs to be added, before the station.
C.P. should have gone for the longest coaster, that
would have solved the problem.thats a record they
allways ignore!!!!!!!! coaster1robert

The ACE rep is wrong. It is impossible for the coaster to go that fast, based on a 300 foot drop. MF has all the brake zones it needs for 3 train operation, just because a person is an ACE rep doesn't mean they know what they are talking about.

Seeing as how I know one of those ACE reps fairly well, I know he wouldn't say something that silly. Even if he did say something, his title doesn't make him an authority.

I thought about that myself. On my last ride the PLC had a little hiccup. Both trains on the track stacked; one in the unload station and one immediately behind on the brakes. The load station was empty. As soon as the load station is clear under normal conditions all stacked trains should roll forward clearing the brakes.

Wasn't the top speed figured out already (At least by the physics majors on GTTP) Even with a full train of people and a frictionless enviroment top speed would be about 96 MPH.

Yes, according to basic physics, the ride could not possibly go faster than approximately 97 mph ever if you ignore friction. It's science, baby, and it ain't true.

Empty or full trains, it makes no difference in a frictionless world. Accelleration is approximately 32'/s/s/. Remember the guy with the apples?
