Sawyer releases scenario with new cars and theming

The Panda World scenario has panda themed mini steel cars (a bit strange looking heh), panda litter bins, a panda scenery object, and bamboo shoot scenery. One of the best things this demonstrates is that if you create a scenario or save game with custom objects, the objects will automatically be included, meaning the user won't have to separately download objects.

This is pretty cool. It looks kinda funny, and is a bit anticlimatic, but still good.

87 different coasters for this year and counting... 149 total!

But you can't use the new scenery in your own parks I tried to make a new senario with the new themed elements but they weren't there in the set up choices

While I am more than thrilled that we're getting new theming and such, it just begs the question: PANDAS?!?

The Panda theming is also added to the scenario editor. Does this mean extra flat rides could be added?

I think the Panda theme is to go along with the panda entertainers. Maybe we will see an elephant and an ape one in the future. Does anyone believe the new theme will become avaiilable when you win the scenerio? I think that would be a great idea to do so, then we have something to look forward to when we win the scenerio.

The apes could go with the jungle theming, I suppose. I guess that the Elephant could be put into the desert or jungle theme as well.

I understand it was a way of introducing some new themes, but that scenario was ridiculously easy. I had the goal met by Sept 7 of year two with minimal effort.

Still the pandas are nice :)

I think the goal of the scenario was to shut all of us up from saying this isnt in the game or that isnt in the game and prove to us that he can add content to the game at his whim. And through a scenario file nonetheless.

The ape is not available an entertainer unless you have the jungle theming. I think that they meant the tiger costume.

Let's hope Infogrames decides to go TheSims.com on us by adding new game items every now and then. I think it may keep the interest in the game higher. :)

Ever since I bought the original RCT, ive been drowning those bloody pandas, this scenario is an insult to humanity.

But on the other side of this im pleased that we can download new crap off the internet. Hell theming anybody???
