Hmm. Seems like they're using the same corny ploy as Cedar Point did in 2001 with Wicked Twister.
"Breaking its own world record of having the most coasters in the world!" - CP
"Shattering its own world record of having the most coasters worldwide!" - SFMM
LOL

Boy you really have a thing against CP... I'm too lazy to bring up your last posts, but I think others get the hint.
Anyways, I'm glad SFMM is getting another ride, a coaster is better than no coaster at all. :)

Um. Right. I have a thing against CP because? I'd like to have you know that I've been to both parks and find Cedar Point to be the better of the two. In my post, I was just saying how BOTH parks (see how it is not just attacking one and not the other) are using the same cheesy catch line when we all know they are tied and didn't break their own record for crap!

Scream... Well at least it is original. As lame as I think that name is, as long as the ride is fun, its no big deal.
I wonder how many inversions this ride will have. I am going way out on a limb here, but it would be incredible for it to be a record breaker in that category.
I am interested to hear more about this one.... Though I would have rather had a flyer! :)
I was thinking about that. And we can't even beging to consider the other rides that have scream as a part of their name... California Screamin', Scandia Screamer, Supreme Scream. And those are all in So Cal!
Even so, it is much better than Nitro or some other name like that.

0-82 in 2.3 seconds! =Wow!
I think the name fits. They'll be quite a bit of screaming on announcement day.
"The name sucks"!
"It's a cheap coaster just to get the record"!
"How could SFMM get another coaster"!?
"Superman isn't a rollercoaster, CP Rulez"!
You know, the same thing that happens every year. ;)

"Escuse me, can you tell me where the heck the Mystery Lodge is"?
Faster Faster - What are you talking about? Revolution has been up and running all year. The only coaster that isn't currently operating is Flashback.
Anyways, I'm sure we are going to see lots of complaints once the ride is announced (about both the name and the layout), but it should be a great addition to the park.

To CozterNut,
First, I'm from Ohio but currently live between the two cities LA and Columbus...I'm saying that to let you know their is no bias towards either park...Superman is a coaster....I prefer with many others BM over Raptor...I like Goliath more than Millie but not Magnum....Neither park has great wood....The Revolution is in the worst condition it's ever been in and is probably one of the worst coasters at the park...The ride ops are no worse than Knotts which is a Cedar Fair Property saying the ride ops just reflect the people/real city that it's near...When I was their and I'm their several times a year the park was not dirty...
However, they do have a tendency to never run all their coasters...
Saying all of that some people need to quit hating on either park...Both are very good parks for coasters and they are raising the level of competition...Just to let you know I prefer CP over MM but not for any of the reasons you mentioned above...
