Expedition GeForce Marathon

I just read on the Holiday Park web page for Expedition GeForce http://www.expedition-geforce.de/ that a man marathoned the coaster for 104 days, from May to September, traveling 30,000 km on this 1.4 km roller coaster. How do people do these things? Is the park open this entire time? They just let him stay on the ride? I guess there are other coasters that have been ridden at these excess amounts of time, but how do they go about this? Anyone know?

I saw a webcam over the summer that was in the station showing him marathoning it. It was pretty cool. I'd love to do something like it S:RoS.

Richard was riding with us during our ERT back in July when ACE paid a visit to the park. He seemed to be in good spirits that day.

I am not certain of the actual park limitations of the stunt but I know he stayed on during normal park hours according to the park.

I saw this guy being interviewed on The Today Show. They actually showed video of him riding also. I think this is the same "nut" who rode The Boss continously last year.

They had a marathon at Tivoli Gardens on the old rollercoaster earlier this year. The prize was a trip to the clone in Japan (though some rides are a bit different)
