Well, let's see, what park is always getting skipped over for new rides and desperately needs something?
Oh, wait.
That's where it's coming from.
(Sorry, I just couldn't resist! :-))
Actually, Great America wouldn't be that bad an idea. We could use another pure looping coaster, and if this coaster likes the cold, the Chicago winters will more than oblige. ;-). Also, it's so small I'm sure we could fit in somewhere. On the other hand, there are plenty of other "cold-weather" Six Flags parks. Although The Great Escape probably won't get it for next year, letting it sit in storage for a year and debuting it there in '04 might work. A few people keep insisting that SFA is getting something new next year, so that's another possibility.
Those are the Six Flags options. There are another two: One, Six Flags could put it up for sale. If that happens, all bets are off. I'm sure someone will buy it, as it's got to be pretty cheap and could fit almost anywhere. But that someone could be anywhere from some rich guy with a big backyard to Cedar Fair. There's no telling. The other option is Six Flags scraps it, or just let's it rot in the boneyard 'till it's un-salvageable.
Frankly, out of all these possibilities, the only one I can say is more or less likely than any of the others is that I doubt it'll go to SFGAm.
Whoever gets it better be prepared for a bit of a junker that breaks down a lot. This ride has already been moved and installed over 100 times.
And they better enjoy downright painful rides. At least two of the trains still have the spine-crunching accordion restraints, and the new modified OTSR's are quite the head bashers themselves.
Its compact layout could be squeezed in just about anywhere, though.
