I guess I must be in the minority then, as the week after we closed I already missed the place. I'm going nuts now. The only saving grace is that our crew(s) is/are staying fairly close, keeping in contact with each other, going out on the weekends, etc.

It's gonna be a loong 5 months...

What's an off-season? ;)

SFMM Salvi, the only thing that *offends* me about that is that you are SO right....why does FL have to take SUCH a back seat to you left-coasters...;). At least we share the year-round riding, and even if you have the better rides (and you DO), we have friendlier parks, so nyah....:)

Off seasons do not bother me cause discovery channel is bound to show the coaster shows 20 or 30 times.

I haven't ridden a coaster all year. Being only 11, I can only go when my parents and family want to. And besides SFAW doesn't exactly have what you'd call "quality coasters". Poor little me.

I like SF,other parks might be better. But is it really my fault I live in texas?

With DDRMAX just coming out and the new girlfriend, I'm doing pretty well this year.

I'm not quite going through withdrawal yet, but I may also be picking up an obscure credit next week ;)

If you were to ask again in January I'm sure I'd give you a different answer.

Poor Little Texan, The Texas Cyclone rules, and so does Viper. Be thankful for what you got. And, I think Ultra Twister is one of the scariest rides I've ever been on. If they could just take the concrete out of the headrest on Batman the Escape, that would be a killer coaster also.

Dude, you're getting an Intamin!

I've had the disease mono for the past month, doctors orders "No roller coasters", so the last time I rode a coaster was September 7th at the Coaster Zombies SFA Superman ERT event. I didn't go to the park during the rest of September because of working on the weekend, and I said, "Oh I'll just go during Fright Fest. Plus I got sick at the end of September. I've been going through coaster withdrawal for about 2 months now, so I already have 2 months added to my off season. Ha, beat that! (well, everyone except PoorLittleTexan) : )

The only thing that's kept me going through total withdrawal are the new Rob Alvey European videos and No Limits of course. How could I forget, this wonderful site right here too!

I miss coasters a little, and besides, I wouldnt be able to afford any park visits right now anyways. But my 21st b-day is coming this week, so I've been drinking away the pain. I suggest you all try it (unless you are underage, of course...lol)

What's an off-season? I'm going to Disney and IOA today and IOA tommrow.

In my area only Silver Dollar City is still open. So the off season will not start till Dec 23 when SDC closes till March. Even then though I can go down to Branson and see what progress has been made on the Ozark Wildcat and Celebration City so the off season will go quick.

Have not went through withdrawls in a year or so. I can always jump in the truck and head to Orlando. So what it is 585 miles to IOA. Nothing like a road trip from the cool mountains of NC to sunny florida. It also helps to have a free place to stay in florida.

I'm about 40 minutes West of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Just South of Downtown North Manchester on HWY 13. I'm in Wabash County and just south of Kosciusco County where Warsaw, Indiana is located. Perhaps that will help. By the way fancy when you say "park" do you mean a particular location or any park in general?

Withdrawl? Nope not yet. After visiting cp 3 times and sfgam 4 times in the last two months. I'm pretty much coastered out. I'll start "craving" an "adrenaline" hit around late dec.

Withdrawal? No way - its much too early for that....and besides, it takes a winter break for me to revitalize my coaster interests. I just enjoy browsing the internet on study breaks to see what's new in the coaster world. Like several others have said, I am not obsessed, just a fan.

Of course I am leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow (where there's a few coasters [if you want to call them that]), so my season is not quite over yet......

I'm experiencing withdrawl already! ( pathetic, huh) I went to Dorney the second to last day, and it already feels like it has been 50 billion years since I've rode a coaster. I don't know how I'll be able to cope until May.
