(SF) Great American: I asked for a full circuit ride, and while CP03 is slightly shorter than X-Flight, the footprint is much larger, so I don't think it'd qualify. The only coaster that exceeds 200 feet that has a small footprint like X-Flight, would be Xcelerator, but I don't know if I consider that a "true" hyper coaster anyway ;)

X Factor: I would have to disagree with you there. Sros takes up alot of land.. way more than X-Flight could ever take! Great ride though.. I'd trade 6 Vekoma flyers for one Intamin hyper if I could! :)

It does look pretty dim for the hyper. Although they could simply be waiting for CP to make an anouncement so they could be more "fresh" in peoples minds. They could easily be laying footers in that dense "Jungle" they have :P

Arguing over the definition of "hypercoaster" or "gigacoaster" is like arguing over the definition of "crunchtastic." They are all words invented by coaster manufacturers to market their rides.
