Oh! The Sounds!!!

Today I finally built my first B&M sitdown looper. After it took off the launched lift I almost fell off the chair! Nothing like the roar of a B&M!

Is anyone else amazed at the sounds of the coasters? If so which ones do you like the best?

I was very impressed with all the realistic coaster sounds in the games. One of my favorites in the sound of woodies going fast! It sounds exactly like you're beside The Legend's brake run. The lifts and brakes are also sweet.

I've had the game for 2 days, and I still have yet to get close to doing all the stuff you can with the rides, let alone start a park and check out the scenery functions. Anyone that thinks this game should be considered an expansion pack, needs their head checked.

I agree, the sounds are top notch in RCT 2. The brake noises are my favorite, and its cool that some lifts sound different than others now, instead of all sounding the same.

About the brakes. . . I'm not hearing anything other than the vehicles slowing down. Am I missing something?

I happen to like the Roman Fanfare music. That just sounds great.

No ones mentioned it, but besides the Arrow and Beemer sounds, honestly, i was most impressed with the cable lift sound on the Inti's, lol, jk.

Actually, besides those 2, I was most impressed with the Giavanola lift sound and the roar of them. The brakes on all of the rides are pretty kool too.

I also like the new mouse coasters sounds... the ratchet sound is pretty cool and different.

There's only one sound I don't like. There's a new very high-pitched screaming squeel that is in the ambiant peep sounds. Every once in a while, that will get stuck playing over and over again, a dozen times in a row. It's really irritating. But other than that, the sounds are noticably improved... with the exception that I'm having some weird problems with sounds like the sound-of-clicking-a-button disappearing. But that's just a minor bug I hope is fixed in a patch.

Love the woodie lift-hill sound too.

Funnily enough I was more impressed by the sound of a standard Corkscrew lift than the more ballyhooed B&M roar...that lift sound is dead-on and reminded me of the Steel Phantom...in fact, it makes me want to go design a hyper terrain looper right now... :-)

I agree, the new sounds are top-notch and are frighteningly accurate. The only sound that I wish they would have included (and I'm being REALLY picky here), is the Intamin impulse launch sound. That's one of my favorites in real life. Of course the B&M roar is up there too and is captured wonderfully in the game.

The sound of woodies turns me on....

Yeah, I know what your thinking... no, i'm not gay. ;)

But seriously, I do like Wooden coaster sounds the best! Very realistic. The B&M coasters come in, in a very close 2nd.

I just got it today and the sounds are realistic. The brake run makes the hiss noice and its like your really at a park. I thought that the 4d has a quiet lift hill, but in the game it has the noice that seems like the tire lift, like the mini coasters.

I really like the sounds in it, especially the B&M's, but does the scream that sounds like a single little girl annoy anyone else?
