The Whoa Belly's name has been changed to "Launched Freefall" in RCT2 and they got rid of the sound effects it had in RCT1. The air compression noises were great and now it's silent.
I hope that's fixed in the patch that fixes the crashes and the backwards ferriswheel operation. Because I consider that a bug.

I hated how the cars struck the bottom before bouncing back up. That's so unrealistic. The people would die if that was real life.
True, but I don't think the game was originally designed to make realistic parks that you could sit and watch operate. I think the original idea was a sim/resource management game based on amusement parks. In games like that, things aren't always realistic, they just meant to be representation.

Nevermind...the weirdest thing. I went into my options and changed my sound from SBLive!Wave back to primary sound driver and my S&S Tower started making noise. Then I changed it back to SBLive!Wave and it continued making noise. Something must have gotten whacked and reselecting my audio hardware fixed it.
Thanks for those of you who checked anyway for me. Still watch out for it because while I was playing the tower's sound stopped again and I had to reselect my sound driver to get it back on.
